Mobile Friendly & Page Speed Testing Tools Details

Whenever we hear the name of a mobile-friendly test tool/tester we see the image of Google's mobile speed test which is also known as Page Speed Insights.

Do you know? Bing has also created its own page speed testing tool with the help of which we can test the mobile-friendliness of our webpages.

If you did not know about this, then you must read this article because there is more than half a doze mobile pages speed tool available to test many factors of a mobile page like FCP and LPC and desktop as well and they have a lot of information.

My dear friends and some Twitter friends have asked me some questions, which I am giving in the below detail, if you have any question, then you can ask me on [@iskgti], I will research on your behalf.

So these are the most asked questions:

  • How many mobile-friendly test tools are available right now?
  • Is Google's tool (PageSpeed Insights) really the best tool?
  • Which one is better Bing Mobile Friendliness Test Tool or Google PSI Tool?
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of all Tool?
    • Google Page Speed Insights
    • GTmetrix
    • Pingdom Speed Test
    • WebPageTest.org

How many mobile-friendly test tools are available right now?

I do not even know if I’m right, but it can definitely tell how many tools I use and how many tools I have heard about.

So here are some tools that I use to do page speed tests and the tools I have heard about:

  • Google Page Speed Insights: Google PageSpeed tools by Google designed to help a website's performance optimizations, I use it again and again as every time.
  • Again from Google Mobile-friendly test: Its job is to show the result after the page is rendered, mostly I use it to check for above the fold screenshot of a page.
  • GTmetrix and Pingdom Speed Test both are very awesome tools to test the mobile page loading time and all but I prefer Chrome Dev Tool because I am used to it.
  • Bing Mobile Friendliness Test Tool: I had not even heard about it, but now I will definitely use it to make a feedback post to share... LOL
  • WebPageTest.org and Test My Site by Google these tools make such a good report that no one can deny the data. (sometimes SEOs has to convince the developer to make changes to the website.)

Is Google's tool (PageSpeed Insights) really the best tool?

I do not know, according to me, no one can be perfect/best, because there are places of improvement everywhere.

Which one is better Bing Mobile Friendliness Test Tool or Google PSI Tool?
